Zero Hunger Program reaches indigenous communities in Mato Grosso do Sul

Agência Brasil – ABr – The Minister of Food Security and Hunger Alleviation signs an agreement today with the government of Mato Grosso do Sul, in the amount of R$ 5 million, to benefit more than 11 Indian families in the state. The agreement will be implemented for a year and plans steps to provide incentives in the area of self-sufficient agriculture, soil management, raising of small animals, and handicrafts. among other activities aimed at self-sustaining development. The activities are complementary to the distribution of foodstuffs, which is already carried out by the state government. (DAS)
